Grade Point Average / Class Rank
Grade point average is computed twice a year, using only semester grades.
A student's class ranking is first published in June of the junior year and is computed based on semester grades. Class rank is determined by using total quality points. This ranking factor is computed by taking the sum of all course credits multiplied by their respective grade point values.
We use a 4.00 quality point system for grades except for honors classes which are marked as such:

honor roll
Students qualify for Honor Roll if they meet the following criteria:
- A grade point average of 3.5 or better for the nine-week grade period;
- A conduct grade of 85% or better; and
- No incomplete or withheld grades.
Valedictorian
The senior class Valedictorian(s) is/are chosen based upon rank and grade point average as computed in the eight semester. The Valedictorian(s) is/are the student(s) ranked first in the class.
