On Tuesday – Thursday this week, the High School will administer Iowa Basic Assessments to Freshmen, Sophomores, and designated Juniors. All seniors and juniors who have met their graduation requirement via the ACT will be on a delayed start. They must be report to school for class at 9:46. All other students are to report to school at the normal time.

6th grade students will be attending Mohican Wednesday through Friday of this week.

We will have May Day for the high school students this Friday, May 12th.

This Thursday, May 11th, students will be able to wear a blue shirt to school to support Asthma Awareness. They must pay $1.00 and school uniform bottoms are still required.

Middle School Student Council has been collecting money donations for our Thirst for Education Project with money going to the Thirst Project. There will be a walk-a-thon/5k race this Friday May 12 from 6-8 in the stadium. Tickets are being sold for $5 during lunch mods or from any council member but will be $8 at the gate. We are also selling bracelets for $1. Come join us for a evening of exercise and fellowship for a good cause!

The Knight Nation Athletic Club will have a meeting this Monday at 6:30 in the commons. We still need volunteers to staff bingo this coming year. We thank the parents who have supported bingo in the past and need new people to take their place. Volunteers will receive tuition discounts for their time at bingo. Please contact Bridget Moeglin if you would like to help. Remember, Bingo provides substantial financial support to Aquinas and helps to keep tuition rates down.

We are in need of a high school science teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. If you are aware of any possible candidates, please have them contact me, Mr. Schlueter, in the school office.

The Annual Charity Raffle for the Knights of Columbus are due this coming Thursday, May 11th. For each $5 ticket sold, $3.00 will be returned to the school. You can turn in tickets or purchase more tickets in the Attendance Office this week.

With graduation quickly approaching so is the need for gown steaming! The After-Prom committee offers this service for $10. Please turn your money into the attendance office by May 12th with the graduates name to ensure that his/her gown is wrinkle free for the big day!

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, May 10 at 6:00 in the cafeteria for all current 6th and 7th grade students concerning a Middle School Basketball Summer Program.
