PARENT BROADCAST
May 28, 2017

High School Underclass exams will start on Tuesday May 30th and conclude on Thursday, June 1st.

The Pass It On Mass for Middle School is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. Students are encouraged to dress up for this event. Boys are encouraged to wear shirt/tie/dress shoes and girls may wear appropriate length conservative dresses.

We are still in need for 6th and 7th grade parents to volunteer to serve and clean up during the 8th grade banquet on Wednesday evening beginning at 5:30. Any parent that can help at this event please contact Mrs. Parise.

Sixth and 7th grade student awards will be Thursday June 1 starting at 10:00. Students will be released to go home after both 6th and 7th grade awards have been distributed.

May Day tee shirts for Middle School will be distributed on Tuesday. Students may wear their May Day tee shirt and appropriate-length shorts to school on Wednesday for May Day activities. Shorts must not be tight or form fitting. No leggings or yoga pants of any kind may be worn.

Next week marks the final week for middle school. All school rules still apply during this time including dress code and behavior.

If you are interested in receiving tuition credit, contact Mrs. Moeglin about working bingo. Remember, bingo provides substantial financial support to Aquinas and helps to keep tuition rates down.

Lunch accounts must be brought current by the end of the school year. Students are reminded of their account balances as necessary. Parents are asked to encourage their children to work on service hours over the summer. There are several opportunities posted in the attendance office, including Meals on Wheels, Safety Town for the City of Louisville, tutoring and more.

Remember, there is no school on Monday, May 29th, due to Memorial Day. I encourage all families to attend a memorial service in your community to remember those service members who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Have a great Aquinas Week.
