*Senior parents – There will be an After-Prom meeting at 6:00 pm tomorrow Monday, January 30 in the Commons. Your help is needed in making this event a success!

*The Diocese of Youngstown scholarship applications are now available for the 2017-2018 school year. Applications can be picked up in the Guidance office. The deadline is March 17, 2017. If you have any questions, please contact Deb Gill in our Guidance Dept.

*The Turnabout Dance will be Saturday, February 11 from 7:00-10:00 pm in the Commons.

*The KNAC’s annual Chili Cook Off, is this Saturday, February 4, 2017. Purchase a reverse raffle ticket for $100.00 for a chance to win $2,500.00. Donate a raffle basket. Donate a bottle of wine for the wine wall. Wine can be red or white and should be $15.00 or more. Please turn into the office by February 1. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Donate your time. Help is always needed with set up, clean up and games. Funds benefits all of our athletes!

*Parents, several new service opportunities have become available to our high school students. If your son or daughter needs service hours, please ask them to check the Service Board in the Attendance Office.

*Seniors are encouraged to attend the three day Kairos retreat that will take place February 19-21st. Permission slips can be found on the school website or contact Mrs. May with any questions.

*Students buy your yearbook online. Go to STA home page of our Website and click on the banner to purchase the yearbook. Senior parents, click on the banner to purchase a senior congratulatory ad.

*The Home & School Association is having a meeting on Monday, February 6 at 6:30. We will be taking nominations for anyone interested in being an officer for next school year. Other topics to be discussed are upcoming fundraisers and events. Please make plans to attend.

*This week is Catholic Schools Week-here is the agenda
Monday – breakfast provided to all students courtesy of McDonald’s and PJ day
Tuesday – Students may wear a jersey showing their favorite team spirit when they bring in a canned good. There will be ice cream donated by the Soehnlen family at lunch for all students.
Wednesday – Students may dress up for $2 with proceeds going to the Syrian Refugees. If a student isn’t participating, then they are to wear their uniform
Thursday – Middle school students will participate in a spelling bee
Friday – Aquinas spirit of Fun day – Students may wear Aquinas apparel and jeans
