Parent Broadcast 10/15/17

October 8, 2017

A reminder: All parents need to call the attendance office by 9am when their student is sick or will be absent for an appointment.

Lifetouch will be here October 26 and 27 to take senior pictures for the yearbook free of charge. Seniors who still need their yearbook picture taken are to see Mrs. Stroia to schedule an appointment. Only those seniors who are signed up may dress up on their respective day, in accordance with the Dress up Day regulations in the Student Handbook. As a reminder, all seniors must have their yearbook picture taken by LifeTouch. They may either do it here at school or schedule an appointment at LifeTouch. Both places for the yearbook picture only, are free of charge.

Parents of seniors are reminded to sign the Senior retreat permission form and have your child turn it into the attendance office tomorrow morning. Students were given a copy in Religion class this past week. A copy can be printed from the school website. Click on forms and downloads and look under Campus Ministry.

On Thursday, Oct. 19th, all are invited to attend the Sandy Hook Promise program to help prevent gun violence in schools. The Sandy Hook Promise is a national non-profit organization founded and led by several family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Come join the millions of people who have made the promise to help prevent gun violence in schools. The program will be repeated several times in the commons during all the mods throughout the day. Call the office for details.

Please RSVP for the upcoming Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Class Dinners.

Don’t forget to buy Jackpot Raffle tickets. The drawing to win $5,000 is October 27th at the football game.

As a reminder no STA athletic passes will be accepted at tournament games to include our home games.

There will be no school this Friday due to a teacher in service day.

Many of our athletic teams are participating in postseason tournaments and meets. Come out and support our athletes who have worked hard throughout their season.

Have a great Aquinas Week!
