The following scholarships are available to students who attend or who are planning on attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School. There is one general application used for all scholarships except the Paumier, Pusateri and Diaz Scholarships. The general, Paumier, Pusateri and Diaz Scholarship application forms are localed in the top right of this pages in “Scholarship Documents” gallery. Forms must be filled out and returned no later than April 15th for consideration. Applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee and recipients will be notified by the committee.

Explore Test Scholarships

Knights of Columbus Scholarship
The Ohio Knights of Columbus are pleased to announce that, for the 2013-2014 school year, numerous $1,000 scholarships will once again be made available for Catholic students (grades nine through twelve) attending Catholic High Schools in Ohio. Considered requirements for this scholarship are financial need, Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher, academic awards, community and/or parish involvement, and extracurricular activities. One scholarship per Catholic High School will be awarded. Application may be downloaded from the top right of this page in the “Scholarship Documents” gallery. Applications must be completed and returned by November 15, 2013.
NEOREMA (North East Ohio Research Education Medicine Alliance)
NEOREMA is an innovative collaboration between Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University and Oberlin College. Launched to increase the participation of under-represented groups within the biomedical sciences, NEOREMA provides year round educational programming for American Indian or Alaskan Native, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, underprivileged, or first generation college students. Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union – 6th – 12th
Primarily needs-based. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be a member of Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union, currently attend a Catholic elementary school or high school in any Catholic Diocese within Ohio, and be willing to submit proof of income if chosen as a finalist. Online applications can be accessed at http://www.ohiocatholicfcu.com, and will open beginning Catholic Schools Week on February, 1, 2016, until Friday, March 4, 2016. In addition to submitting an application, candidates must have a teacher or school administrator fill out an online recommendation form. Winners will be notified via phone by April 15, 2016. The financial needs-based scholarship funds will be sent directly to the Catholic school in the name of the family awarded the funds no later than mid-August.

Cleveland Clinic Internship Programs
Cleveland Clinic is sponsoring three summer internship programs for high school students. These internships are 9 week, paid summer learning experiences that requires participating high school students to work 40 hours each week alongside assigned Cleveland Clinic healthcare professionals as part of a team, gaining exposure to the wide range of careers in health care. Students will experience hands-on learning and receive individualized structured mentorship in various professions. The three internship programs are 1) Cleveland Clinic Science Internship Program, 2) Cleveland Clinic Health Horizons Internship Program and 3) Cleveland Clinic Young Business Leaders Internship Program.
